I just decided to make my new gaming rig a SFF if possible, and the antec nk1380 is oh-so-sexy! (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129038)

I just had one small concern about my planned video card, a eVGA superclocked 8800gt (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130319)

Two questions- Ive looked around a bit, people say that a 8800gt will fit in the in nsk1380, but does this include the superclocked version? Is it even any bigger? If so does it fit?

Also- heat is a big issue in this small tiny case, but I am planning just 1 HDD, 1 DVD/R, and no extra PCI cards, so it should stay pretty cool... But I think the superclocked 8800gt might get hotter than a normal 8800gt. Do I need to be concerned with this?

Last question is power. 350W is plenty for a normal 8800gt, how much more does the overclocked version use?

Thanks for any help :D I hope I can make this SFF gaming machine work :)

The superclocked, and any factory overclocked version, is the same size as stock. Also an overclocked GPU uses an extra 20-80w depending on the card and the overclock. The only problem I see is one you have listed, heat. A regular 8800 GT runs very hot, an overclocked version runs even hotter and I am not sure whether that case will be able to displace the heat quick enough. Honestly, I doubt it will work and I would expect the 8800 GT to over heat. The good news, however, is this makes an even greater reason, besided performance, to forget the 8800 GT and buy an 8800 GTS G92 for as much, or less. The GTS G92 not only out performs the GT, it also runs very cool with its very effective cooler that also pushes the air out of the case, and not into it. This is crucial to keeping the system running well. Lastly, I can not think of a reason why the 8800 GTS G92 would not fit in the case you plan on buying, it does not stick out from the motherboard, so as long as you can put a motherboard in, you can put a 8800 GTS G92 in.

^ Good overclock, and great price. There is no reason not to get this card, I hope this helps.

That vid card looks great! Thanks!

I think I decided to go with the Antec NSK3480, it is the bigger brother of the NSK1380, had a separate compartment for the PSU, has a 120mm case fan for cooling, and has a bit more room to allow for some expansion, while still looking nice and small.

Thanks for the advice :)

Does anyone actually have this case or have any experience with it? I am going to buy my system mid may and I keep looking at parts and I keep coming back to wanting this case if at all possible!

Ive searched for hours to find more info- but first hand info is always best!
