Hi everyone,
Just a quick question as it's been a good few years since I last built a PC and I'm having a problem with my new build.
Right, over the last few weeks I built my new gaming rig, the MoBo I used was an ASUS Z77 Sabertooth. The problem I'm having is the BIOS and system clock keep resetting after it's been switched off at the mains for around 48 hours or so. But the PC hasn't really been used since I built it as a family emergency has meant I've been house sitting for my sister, so the PC has only really been built, switched on, Windows and drivers installed and that's it, so it's only been switched on for a maximum of 4 hours.
So, would it be resetting because the CMOS battery isn't charged or is that a stupid n00bie thing to ask lol???
Really appreciate a bit of advice please guys.
