What to do when the administrator user account cant be logged on due to virus pr

I picked up a virus in my desktop while working from my administrator account; now I cant log into my administrator account and programs that i need to uninstall cant happen. What should I do?

try go safemode and make new user and scan your HDD use AV with latest update, if can't do the last option is recovery / reformat
