Hello, hi guys . i just realized that i ordered all my parts for my custom build pc and my intel I7 3930k does not come with a heatsink. i need to order me a cooler or heatsink so that i will be able to run my pc with no problems. what you guys recommend for around $80 to $100

The H100 is great if you don't mind paying too much for a cooler (which I'm guessing you don't, since you bought a 3930k).

The NH-D14 if you want the quietest, coolest experience or the H100 for the best, non-custom liquid cooled cooler.

Some people go for the H100 since it has more compatibility with RAM heat spreaders and you could use it as an exhaust.

The Havik 140 comes close to the D14 but with more compatibility over tall heat spreaders.

i really appreciate your reply guys ! i like the h100 which everyone seems to recommend a lot. but my only concern with it is that i am using the Antec 1200 V3 ATX Full Tower so i dont know if it will actually fit in and this is my first build so i dont really know much of what i am doing here. i have done the regular fan heatsink installs before so if there is a fan cooler out there that yo guys would recommend please let me know because i need to run to microcenter and buy this up today or really early tomorrow before all my parts come in the mail. to give you guys an idea of what i am building here is my parts list.

Asus P9X79 Pro
Intel Core i7 3930K
GTX570
G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 1866
Hitachi 7200 RPM 1TB
Antec Twelve Hundred V3 ATX Full Tower
CORSAIR Pro Gold (CMPSU-850AX) 850W

Oh... that's a problem.

The H80 will do about the same job, and with maximum RAM compatibility.
