Touchscreen eMac

Hi everybody,
I hope that this is under the right section, I'm new to this site. I hope there is some ppc mac fans out there: I was thinking about doing a mod on my emac lmk if you think it will work, getting a 17'' crt touchscreen and replacing the old crt with a touchscreen one. kinda want to stay away from touchscreen lcds if possible. I have experience with working on/discharging crt's doesn't bother me Any thoughts?

Thats gonna be expensive unless you can find a used one. Good luck with the project. It should be straight forward.

have you thought about the software side of things? dont think there is any touchscreen native support on any MAC OS

Thanks for both replies but as to this one I already scavenged elo's site and found a touch screen driver/calibration program for leopard 10.5.8. More concerned on how to get power to the monitor.
