Will my ripjaws Model F3-17000CL11Q-16GBXL run on X79 board? Looking to upgrade to X79 platform with i7 3930k.......Can't seem to find my ram on any of the X79 QVL's. Also, Gskill site does not list my ram or any other X79 boards that for that matter. Getting either a ASrock X79 Extreme 6 or a Asus P9X79. I would hate to have to buy another 16gb kit, only 1 yr old.

Intel i7 2600k 3.4Ghz OC to 4.7Ghz
Gigabyte Z68 UD3H-B3
Crucial M4 128Gb SSD
Gskill RipjawsX PC17000 16Gb (2133Mhz OC to 2230Mhz)
MSI 560 gtx ti Hawk (950/2100 Mhz OC to 1150/2320 Mhz)
Corsair TX850M PSU
Coolermaster Hyper 212+
Asus 24” 2ms 1920x1080p HDMI Monitor
Logitech 7.1 6 Speaker Surround Sound System
Seagate 120Gb External HD

Yes, they will work. You will need to adjust voltage to match 1.6V.

I found it curious that Gskill does not list my model # Ripjaws X as being compatible with any of the X79 boards? None of the Asus or ASrock boards list it either. I know they run at 1.65V

They were designed for older platforms - p67 and z68, maybe that's why they are not listed for newer x79 motherboards.
