How can I find out what generation of PCI Express I have? I've looked at some things and they all simply say that I have "PCI Express" but never what generation. Do I have to download a program or is there some system information I can look at on Win 7?

If all it says is PCI Express, I would assume it's first gen. Usually if it's PCIe 2.0, 2.1, or 3.0, they'll say so. But if you know the specific motherboard you have, or even the specific model system, then someone might be able to give you a better answer.
