I have 2 sticks of PC133-CAS3 and 2 sticks of PC100-CAS2 (128mb each). My board only has 3 DIMM slots and I plan to use only 256mb. Which one is better in terms of performance and stability, the PC133 or the PC100? I'm running PIII-733 on a CUSL2-C. Thanks.

Probably the Pc133 DIMMs.

Definatley the CL3 PC133's. Don't fill the third slot with a PC100 CL2 or you'll ruin the 33MHz advantage cause the PC133 will run a PC100.

Yes, the 133. Also try setting your Cas Latency to 2/3/2 in Bios and see if it works OK, as it will be faster.

Will it make a lot (noticeable) difference if I were to set it to 2/3/2 instead of the default 3/3/3? Thanks.

Well isn't your PIII 733 a 133mhz FSB CPU?? I believe it is, and therefore you will need PC133 memory, unless you know that your PC100 memory is stable at 133mhz. This is a no-brainer, but in the case that you run a CPU on a 100mhz bus the PC100 CAS 2 memory will give you a slight advantage at 100mhz, but that's all and it won't even be that noticeable.

Noticeable only in some applications, not dramatic, but noticeable.

CUSL2 has 133/100/33 setting, so that you can either use slower memory or higher overclocking.
