Can really warm room temps affect temps

This is my first build, everything went fine i have everything working just a little worried about my idle temps (with firefox open) my cpu temp is at around 40cand 38c and 40c mother board is at 34c and graphics are 44c. My room is pretty warm, yesterday it got to be 85 degrees outside it felt like a sauna. This is my first build.

Intel Core i5 2500K @ 3.30GHz

4.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR3

ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3

AMD Radeon HD 6850 GV-R685OC-1GD

coolermaster 212 plus

Yes a high ambient temp in your room is of course going to make your baseline idle temp higher as well as slowing the heat dissipation from your typical cooling solution. This is a big part of why the AC in most server rooms are kept at a point that is barely comfortable.
