I have an HP Pavilion m9425f desktop, the NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GS video card fan has failed (again). Out of warranty, I am replacing with a EVGA GeForce GT 640 (Single Slot). I noticed there is a motherboard external/additional jumper connection (Blk & Wht 2 pin 2 wire - mboard label says PDIF out 2 ) to the existing 9500 vid card that does not seem to be on the new GT 460 EVGA card. Jumper needed? Motherboard video card slot makes all connections? What to do?

Just plug the card into the slot and do nothimg else with the mobo. The old card had a sound card built into it, so that's why there's a S/PDIF connector on it.
