Gigabyte GTX 460 SOC or non-SOC

What's the difference except for the looks and extra OC? Will I be able to OC the same amount on the regular as the SOC? I'm wondering because I can save $50 by downgrading to the non SOC.

The Soc versions are for people who don't know how to overclock. Or who just don't want to take the time and the risk of doing it. If you can do yourself, then do it.

You can OC a regular 460 much higher than the 815mhz that the SOC comes at most of the time, but SOC can overclock even higher than that because it has a better cooler and PCB design, but 50 bucks is nearly 40% of the cost of the regular one so I would just go for the standard one and overclock it.
