I have a HP Pavillion d1000e desktop pc with an inoperative sata hdd. I put in a new WD 500gb sata hdd,but the system will not recognize it either. The pc is a64 bit system & was originally running windows 7 64 bit. what might the problem be? The BIOS shows the sata group enabled , but it does not now the drive is ther.
