I have recently built my computer ( about 2 or 3 weeks ago) and I have an ASUS engtx 460 gpu. I instealled the latest nvidia drivers and occasionally, mainly when i go to full screen, the driver temporarily stops working. Ive tried reinstalling and it still keeps happening. Any Advice? Thanks

try rolling back to the previous version (before 280.26)?
I think most of the updates over the last 6 months or so didnt have any significant improvements for GTX 460 (maybe some GTX 460 SLI profiles added / tweaked) - anyone please correct me if i'm wrong

was the card new? what are your full system specs, inc PSU?

as daft as it sounds have you checked the power connectors are firmly plugged into the card and the card itself itself is plugged in wholly to the board?

Yeah I have checked that the card was plugged in all the way and that the power connectors were all the way in.
Specs are:

GPU: Asus ENGTX 460 Direct CU
PSU: earthwatts 650W
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3
Ram: G-SKill 8 gb
CPU cooler: coolermaster 212+
