Which mobo to choose? Price difference is around $37 (as per local prices)

D3H - $187
UD3H - $225

Ud3h only offers a pcie x8 3.0 slot nothing's better.
D3h on the other hand has more Sata 3 ports. Cheaper.

I've got a Z77X-UD3H, and I absolutely love it! It's a really good board, but compared to what I payed for it $225 seems a little steep. I don't really use the added features, but I went for the UD3H because the price difference here was around 5 Euro, so it was hard to justify saving 5 Euro.
Looking at the D3H though, it seems fine. Doesn't seem like much of a sacrifice. $37 is a new game on a slight discount or almost 8GB of decent DDR3 ram.

Either way you go, you won't regret it though, I can tell you that much! ;)

Unless I'm missing something, the z77x-ud3h can be had for around $144 on Newegg...

well, using my normal supplier, i can currently get the d3h for £77 (gbp) and the ud3h for £114. it's just over 50% more expensive, for features that i wouldn't be using. but that is still entirely up to the OP of course!

Thank you everyone!! I have bought D3H, yet to arrive.

PS: The prices are different from your source as it's as per my local prices, just converted to USD

i knew the prices would be different as conversion would have to take place, but thought i would let you know the sort of difference you can find if you look. glad to hear you found a MoBo to suit your needs

prices differ so much due to active prmotions in US and import duties in my country. many times, prices are as high as 1.5 of newegg/amazon price :ouch:

Went with Z77X-UD3H as no other Z77 ATX from Gigabyte were available at major retailers in India
