I set up a half server half desktop computer using the following components

Mobo: Speedster 5000x
CPU: 2 x L5420
RAM: PC2-5300 FBDIMMS (1gb sticks)
PSU: Corsair CX-430
GPU: GTX 650

When I power it up the fans spin but there is no visual from the GPU, and there are no lights on the motherboard at all.
All of the components get hot though, the ram got VERY hot to the touch, I shut it down before the cpu got to bad but It was heating up.

I'v reset the BIOS but beyond that and putting only 1 stick of ram in the system I don't really know what else to do. Does anyone have any ideas or seen anything like this before?

EDIT: Does anyone know if this mobo is supposed to have lights?

Can you check the PSU voltages with a multimeter. They should be within about 6% of nominal.
