hey guys i bought a 6850 1gb and previously i had a 4850 1gb, im wondering if i crossfire them would it be faster then the single 6850? I read that if you crossfire 2 different cards the faster one works at slower speeds, either way would the crossfire be faster or no? Also i have a 550w corsair psu, is that even enough to pull the two cards.

thanks.

When i saw your avatar, i thought it was me.
You can't CF two different series cards. you can't Crossfire HD 3870 with HD 4870.
Crossfiring is allowed only with 2 different Models in the same Series starting with HD 5000 series.
For eg. you can crossfire HD 5830 with HD 5850 but you can't crossfire HD 6850 with HD 5850.....

so a Crossfire of HD 6850 with HD 4850 is not possible at all.
