Can you tell us the system specs and which game you are trying to play please. Also is it a new game or did it play ok before ?
Without that info I could only guess at possible causes, maybe the graphics card is just not up to playing modern games of its possible the card is failing if it played the games before. I had a X800XL card that did that on its way to being dead.

Either way more info needed please
