Hey guys

I am thinking of upgrading my motherboard to an Asus P8Z77-V LX as this board supports pcie 3.0

I have the following setup

i5 2500k
Asus P8P67 EVO
Asus gtx 670

Would it make much difference to frame rates if i upgraded?

Also I read on Asus website that 3rd gen cpu's support pcie 3.0, does this mean 2nd gen's don't?

Any help would be awesome

It won't make any difference in games. Seriously, don't waste money on this. Plus, in order to get PCIe 3.0, you'll also need an Ivy Bridge CPU. Again, don't replace the motherboard because you want PCIe 3.0. You won't benefit from it in this situation.
