Will this card work with this system

hey guys, i have an old hp pavillion computer i fixed up, i put all the parts in a nzxt gamma (irrelevant) and added another HDD and some fans, the onboard graphics are not cutting it for me, i at least want to enjoy tf2 on medium settings,thats all i want, no modern games, just minecraft and tf2 (maybe counterstrike).

So i was wondering if this card will work in this system...

It will work. BUT that graphics card will not allow you to play medium settings in TF2.

In the entry range GPU market AMD is the way to go.

Unfortunately your Power supply is very small and I would suggest getting atleast a 500w.

my core 2 duo on my toshiba satellite can run tf2 on medium setting around 35 fps,and the reviews say otherwise

I just want to say you should really check your facts before trying to help me, I bought the card,installed the latest drivers and now I can play tf2 medium settings 50 fps,and skyrim on low settings at 40 fps, I did not change any other parts

Depends on what your definition of medium is I guess. Im guessing you play at low resolution?
