Hi I am building a gaming PC and i cannot seem to get my onboard lan to work. I have tried numerous methods described on the internet:
  • Reinstalling Windows [Didnt work]
  • Updating BIOS flash [ Didnt work]
  • Using various Drivers found for Marvell 88SE9128 PCIe Gigabit Lan Controller.. [Didnt Work]

Can anyone help me with the issue ? I tried installing a PCI ethernet card, but I think its not compatible with Win7. The main thing is. None of my networking attempts have worked on my PC yet. Please help me :(

this might sound simple but have you tried to get the drivers from asus, from their download page for that mobo.

I did yes. Did not work. I just noticed that, when i am reinstalling windows, the drivers are being populated as micrsoft drivers. I am wondering what if I disable the LAN from the motherboard BIOS, then reinstal windows again. Maybe this will work.
