New psu went boom

Just bought a new antec ea-670w power supply. It whave been set wrong. anyone else ever hearas hooked up right and when i turned it on the psu went boom and smoke was all over the place. It has an automatic voltage regulator so it couldnt be set wrong. Anyone else ever heard of anything like that? Luckily, I did not blow my other computer components.

I would just RMA it some of them just come out bad. If you are sure no other components are damaged don't bother talking to Antec themselves, save yourself the time.
