More about what card
  1. which graphics card are you using?
  2. Probably that it needs a pci-e x16 slot on your mobo, but indeed ; which graphic card are we talking about ?
  3. It means that your card will fit in a X16 slot on your motherboard and not a X4 or X1. When you look at the video cards description they all say either Pci-e 2.0 x16 or Pci-e 2.1 X16.
  4. It means it's running at 16 times the speed of sound.

But really, it means it's running at full bandwidth. If you want to understand it more in detail try reading this...

And it probably means it needs a x16 pci-e and at full bandwith maybe.
  6. If i'm reading it correctly the OP is basicly asking what is x16.
  7. When i was younger i thought it was rated 16 years and older, bought it suspecting a lot of xxx stuff, well . . .
