Upgrading my 5770

I'm looking to upgrade my xfxforce radeon 5770 graphics card
I need advice to which to upgrade to
I'd like to swap to an Nvidia graphics card instead
I'm looking for most bang for dollar under 150

MotherBoard:
ASUS Premium P6X58D

Processor: I7 920

USAGE:
Gaming and Watching Movies

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY:
XFXForce ATI Radeon 5770

OCZ 650W power supply

PARTS PREFERENCES:
Nvidia

From HD5770 as an upgrade I would at minimum go HD6870 or since you want nvidia GTX560 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814134137
You could go GTX460 1GB or HD6850 but the upgrade is not as pleasing.

The best bang for your buck is to add another 5770 to run in crossfire. For a completely different card the best in that price range is a 6850 or GTX 460, but two 5770s in Crossfire are generally faster than either option and either single card option is only a mild upgrade from a single 5770.

i would think you're probably right providing the psu is enough. id be quite worried it isnt though...

650watt OCZ if not very old should be fine for 2 x HD5770 in CF!

The 5770 doesn't suck up a whole lot of power. That PSU is more than enough for two of them in that system.
