  7. First of all I would go for intel build with i3-2100 in the core of the system
    mobo from Asus or Gigabyte
    Hd6850 for your resolution is plenty but u can always stay with hd6870
    go for Antec 300 Illusion it's on sale for $40 after MIR

    his intrest is gaming and multitasking, a quad will serve hime better than a dual in most cases.
