Virtualization

Hello,
I'm using an AMD Phenom X4 9650 processor on a XFX 8300 GeForce motherboard.
I have Server08 R2 installed but I am unable to run Hyper-V. I get a message saying that the Hypervisor is not running.
I cannot find an option in the BIOS to enable virtualization .
However, I know that the cpu does support virtualization because I am able to run VMWare without any problem.
Does anyone know of any issues with Hyper-V using this processor ?

What version of VMware are you running? I presume that VMware is not installed on the system on which you want to run Hyper-V.
