Asus 6950 CrossfireX Temperatures ?

Hey guys,

Just wondering what the safe temperatures are for running Asus HD6950 1GB graphics cards in crossfirex ?

Idling I get about high 30's to low 40's and when running Furmark it climbs up to the mid 90's about 5 minutes into it, is that safe ? :/

The 6900 series Ati cards seem to run very hot... I have crossfired 6950's and my idles are 50c and full load with furmark is high 80c. For one card this seems pretty hot, ATI says not to worry until you get into the high 90s to 100c. For me I never want mine to get that hot. What kind of case are you running? Do you have proper are flow? Do you have anything blocking the fan or fans on the GPU? Try to go into the CCC and manually adjust your fan controller and see if you can make it run a little faster and cool it down a bit. Try to get it to peak around 90c and you will be fine.
