Hello,
I,m running windows7 on a gigabyte 8VM800M-775,2gb DDR1 installed ok.But this Motherboard only has an AGP graphics port. Can I use a Sapphire radeon 100288L HD4650 1gb ddr2 grahics card ok. If yes,could you inform me of the exact amd ex ati hotfix to get the card working.

Thanks for a super quick response rolli59, you probably noted my reference to only 2gb ddr1 on my system, would I then have to use win 32 bit hotfix ?? thanks for your patience

It depends on whether you are installing the 32bit or 64bit OS, if you have 32 bit installed use the 32bit here http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticl [...] otfix.aspx
it could even be the same.

Thankyou for your great advice, I'll go ahead and purchase the AGP version of the graphics card, and go for it. wish me luck, I only have a windows performance figure of 2.1 using an older Zeus 5500 8x card. Have a great weekend.
