Please check the following link for more information:

There are CPU support list inside the link. In addition, the PCIe x16 is version 1.0. Any video card which is compatible to PCIe x16 version 1.0 should be OK for this model.

Thanx forthe info. I also have a radeon hd3650 with 1 gig ddr2 on it but it is an Agp. Will 2X2gig ram work in this emachine and where is th cheapest place to get some pc2700 ddr at least one gig each. Again thanks and i will check out that link. I know that the agp gpu will not work on it. Also have and ati ragepro 32mb pci gpu. Would be willing to trade it for the pc2700 mem and would trade the ati 3650 for a 400 or 450 watt psu with sata and pata connectors as have a msi mother board with the amd 7750 black edition cpu.

º 2 x 240-pin DDR2 DIMM socket support up to 2 GB
º Support DDR2 667/533/400 DDR2 SDRAM

thanx for that info. The mobo has a LGA775 socket. Can i upgrade to a quad, 6, or 8 core cpu and get more memory. I play a lot of games and the faster i can get this pc to run the better it would be . I also need to update my pc specs on here since i no longer using the dell i original started out with. My Pc has a 3GhzPentium 4 dual core with hypethreading cpu, A 160 gig sata primary, a 250 gig sata slave, a 500gig pata primary, a 320gig pata secondary, a LG sata dvd burner, external I/O Magic dvd burner, tv turner card, HP w2207 flat screen monitor, and a HP 5200 all in one printer, running windows 7 home but may upgrade to Ultima. :wahoo:
