A while back, I bought the SAGER NP5175. I'm having trouble with my bios though. Nowhere can I find the most up to date bios from Sager, and all the while I'm barraged by this Clevo company that I've never heard of, which apparently built my computer??
Now, I started getting this "bios in this system not fully ACPI compliant" Blue Screen Crash, when trying to boot on removable media. I thought that a good old fashioned bios update would fix this. Thinking I knew what I was doing, I flashed the 107 BIOS from this site: Clevo W150HRX and W170HR BIOS Updates
Now, everything boots up fine and dandy as it did before (with a new bios logo), but any kind of boot other than my main WIN7 that I've tried has left me with that blue screen and a mandatory hard reset. Can anyone please help clarify this obnoxious scenario? I'm in way over my head.
Where can I find the most up to date BIOS?
How can I stop getting this particular Blue Screen?
What is the Cevo W170HR that may or may not be my SAGER NP5175?
Thank you all so much, this is just killing me inside.
