Upgrading memory setup

hey everybody,

i was wondering about upgrading my memory capabilities lately, currently i have 8gb of ddr3 ram, from an unkown brand that came with my rig when i bought it.
the rig i am currently using has only 2 slots for memory, and a maximum capacity of 16gb.

i am thinking of filling all that and buying 2 sticks of 8gb ram.

the desktop i am currently using is a Cyberpower PC Gamer Ultra 2096 (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883229253), and i recently swapped out the video card it came with with a new EVGA GTX670 FTW (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130787)

Could anyone suggest me some good brands/products to me?


As for what i will be using the 16gb of ram for, it will be for playing games such as BF3, GTA5, max payne 3, Total War Rome 2, Company of Heroes 2, Metro last light, Crysis 3, and bf4 maxed out.

You wouldn't really need 16gb of ram for gaming would you? 8 should be just fine, for brands though i like to stick to corsair and g-skill good luck

For running gta5, a speculated 16gb of ram is needed for maxing it out. I also would need 16gb of ram to raise my ugridstoload value in skyrim, to get better draw distances. I want to be able to play any game maxed out that will come out in the next 3 years, perhaps
