hi i have dell n5110 i7 laptop, everything was fine with the device, i overused battery below 10% and now battery is not charging and is stuck at 0%. i checked the battery from dell's software , it shows battery health is 100%. battery icon shows, battery is performing normally and charging but the level doesnot rise. i checked my ac adapter, it works fine.
i even tried bios diagnostic option, it showed 0mA current . i broke the locks of battery and opened the battery to see all cells were working fine, when tested with multimeter at points B- and B+ they showed 11.61 v(rated voltage of battery is 11.1v) there are nine pins in the battery and when googled found that dell battery(other model ) has a pin (on/off) (5v triggers on), i now think battery is fine, but it is not switched on, or may be current is not flowing from laptop to battery,
i even tried to charge manaully the cells of battery but it seems current is not flowing to laptop...
is there any way out hardware of software wayout please help me
