My Windows 7 Toshiba has suddenly lost it's Internet connection - I can see the network clearly enabled via wireless and via direct connection - the home network screen shows Internet connection is active, however my email and browsers do not connect. I have tried Firefox but with the same results. Not sure what has happened, it was working fine until yesterday. All my other PC's are working online as before One is Vista the other XP - any ideas?
This could be caused by a firewall. If you have 3rd party firewall software, check its logs for anything indicating that IE or Firefox was blocked. If you don't have 3rd party software, check the Windows Firewall logs.
