This might not be an exactly motherboard related question but it was the closest board related to my problem.
I've been having this problem with my PSU for about a month now, it makes a rumbling noise and when shaken or put sideways (the whole computer case sideways) usually it stops it, that it most likely the fan dying so I ordered a new PSU and I am currently waiting for its arrival due in about another week.
Now I've been running with my computer sideways for about 4 days, as I mentioned it's a temporary attempt at reducing the noise made by the PSU as my computer is meant to be running 24/7 and I sleep in the same room as it so it was getting annoying.
Yesterday I've ran into a problem that I cannot pinpoint however. When running some GPU/CPU demanding applications such as flash games or any 3D games like TERA, Farcry 3 after about 10-15 minutes of gaming it starts to suddenly drop from a steady 60-120fps to about 3fps and something which I think might be my GPU begins making a really high-pitched noise that is way louder than a coil whine.
There is exception however, not ALL games I have produce this, so far I can play World of Tanks and League of Legends without any problem for hours and World of Tanks usually puts everything at a much higher temp than the games that usually causes the problem.
That is why I require help, it started doing this about a day ago from when I am posting this and I am worried something might just burst and make me waste money reaquiring hardware.
