Asus not charging

My asus laptop will not charge and is currently dead...with the charger plugged into it. All parts are original, a little over two years old. The plug in area for the charger seems a bit wiggly. Last night it was charging, but the slightest movement caused the laptop to not charge. Eventually it just stopped reading that the charger was plugged in and acted as if it wasn't, it stayed on until it finally died from not being charged. I don't think there is a problem with the charger, has the green light and stuff. So any ideas what's going on?

What model is the laptop?

Broken DC jack. Can be repaired, might be worth it if the laptop is new enough. Otherwise be cheaper to just go buy a new one.
