SLight Help with New Build

Since I plan on continuing to play a lot of SC2 and SWTOR and want better performance, I decided to upgrade my current system. However, I ran into an issue where my current Motherboard (ASUS M2N68-AM SE2) is absolute crap and wont even recognize my Asus 6850 (my old card is a 9500GT). So I've decided to just build a new system, however, my issue is really if I should go with the Phenom II X4 or swap over to Zambezi? Any suggestions?

Here is my build list (parts in Bold I already have)

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 975 3.6GHz OR AMD FX-4100 Zambezi 3.6GHz
Motherboard: ASUS M4A87TD/USB3 AM3 OR ASUS M5A88-V EVO AM3+
RAM: G.SKILL Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) 1333 DDR3
GPU: Asus AMD Radeon 6850
Hard Drive: Western Digital 1TB Cavier Black
PSU: OCZ ModXstream PRO 600W
Case: Antec 300

More about slight build
  1. The Zambezi setup will edge out the Deneb setup. AMD FX-4100 + M5A88-V EVO AM3+ with GSKILL DDR3-1600. The DDR3-1333 is fine, but no need not to up the speed with the crazy low prices. If you are looking a low latency memory that is a different story as DDR3-1333 CL7 is faster than DDR3-1600 CL9. DDR3-1600 CL8 is probably the sweet spot for price for performance...
  2. Don't forget the CPU Cooler so you can overclock... Hyper 212 EVO.
  3. Since you dont have motherboard or CPU.....I would seriously consider switching over to INTEL and go with a z68 motherboard and either i3-2100 or i5-2500k processor. Both will out perform what AMD has to offer in terms of gaming.

What budget do you have to spend on CPU/MOBO/RAM?

(RAM id recommend looking at 1600MHz RAM, either G.Skill or Corsair Vengeance, CL9 is fine, 8GB is fine. It shouldn't cost more than a few $ more than 1333MHz).
  4. I'm partial to AMD so I'll be sticking with them for the long run! Here is what I've narrowed it down to based on the feedback

    CPU: FX-4100 Zambezi 3.6GHz
    Motherboard: ASUS M5A99X EVO AM3+ AMD 990X
    RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600
    GPU: Asus AMD Radeon 6850
Hard Drive: Western Digital 1TB Cavier Black
    PSU: OCZ ModXstream PRO 600W
    Case: Antec 300

I changed the motherboard to a 9 series chipset so I can have a "Scorpius" system (lol). Overall this should be a big improvement over my current Athlon II X4 620 and crap $50 Asus Motherboard.
