Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD versus Intel HD Graphics 3000

I saw one hp laptop (dv4t), has GMA 4500M HD.

the other, more expensive hp, with i5 core, has " intel hd graphics 3000".

Wizard, please help this neophyte, and just give me the skinny on the better integrated card. ! I super appreciate it.

intel hd3000 is better than gma 4500m hd. probably two times faster than 4500.
hd3000 is newer tech, performs better than 4500m, can play games at low res. cpus with hd3000 have quick sync which transcodes really fast, igp turbo boost, igp overclocking etc. read thg's sandy bridge review, it has a lot of into on how hd3000 works.

The Intel HD 3000 is in general, marginally better than a desktop Radeon HD 5450 video card.

Well i have seen the Intel IGP's on very costly laptop's and i would never get them. Just search some other laptop that have real graphic card and i am sure some on them will be cheaper than the two laptop's you are looking into. Well in laptops upgrading the GPU is not possible, so you need a futuristic laptop atleast get HD 5650M will be good.
