Will removing motherboard battery reset bios to factory default? will you lose p

when i start my pc the keyboard does not type but will go to sleep if i press that button. if i take out battery on motherboard with no power will that fix the problem and will i lose my pics and docs?

Removing battery with no power will reset the motherboard to factory default.

It will not hurt your files or folders. Those are on hard drives and are not tied to the motherboard battery in any way.

Will it fix your keyboard issue? I don't know.
