Whats the Real diffrence between CAS3 and CAS2, I heard CAS2 is faster, but how faster? is CAS the chipset? is there any other CAS then CAS2 and CAS3 ???

Thanks

Here's a quote from Crucial:
"CL2 parts process data a little quicker than CL3 parts in that you have to wait one less clock cycle for the initial data. However, after the first piece of data is processed, the rest of the data is processed at equal speeds. Latency only affects the initial burst of data. Once data starts flowing, there is no effect. Bear in mind, a clock cycle for a PC100 module is 10 nanoseconds so you probably won't notice a significant performance difference. Most systems will accept either latency part. However, there are some systems that require either CL2 or CL3 parts."

It's called latency for a reason-Cas2 has a 2 cycle response time and Cas3 takes 3 cycles to repond, so Cas2 reponds 50% faster than Cas3. It makes about a 2%-15% difference in scores on various system test. It is a measure of memory performance. You purchase your ram that way.

Do you know the percentage of how much faster DDR 200/266 ram is? Also, what AMD processor takes advantage of DDR?

DDR 200 is called PC1600 because it transfers 1600 bits per second. DDR 266 is called PC2100 because it transfers 2100 bits per second. They have the ability to transfer twice as much data as there 100 and 133 counterparts. All Athlons and derivatives use a DDR system bus, so the memory bandwidth and system bus bandwidth can be the same if you use 1600 on an Athlon "200" fsb or 2100 on the new athlon "266" FSB. 2100 works on both BTW.
