I am trying to grt into the setup of my westell 327w and it comes up with the sign in box, I type in admin and leave the password blank because this a new router and it won't go no further than the sign in box. It acts like it wants a password but I don't have one. Any ideas. Thanks Bruce
Is it true that cannibals don't eat clowns because they taste funny?
When I type in 192.168.1.1 all I get is the user name and password box. I type in my user name and pass word no good, I tried several combos and can't get into the router. My Old D-Link I had no problem. I don't think verizon want's anyone in there. Bruce

Well did you ever get a username and password from your service provider (verison). They actually issue the U/P pair.
If you have service from them then they should provide you info to get into the DSL router.
In your first post it seems that you tried admin w/ no password. Has anything changed?
Have you read the manual I provided a link for? Its all in there.
Look like you have to call the ISP (Internet service provider)
Does the router have a hard reset on it to reset back to factory defaults? I'd do that and then try the westell standard user/pass which is user: admin and password: password.
