Approximate Purchase Date: ~30 days

Budget Range: ~$1500

System Usage from Most to Least Important: 1) software dev; 2) home network media server; 3) general use

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg

Country: USA

Parts Preferences: Intel...employee discount! :D

Overclocking: Maybe, but not planning on it

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe, but not planning on it

Monitor Resolution: 1-1920x1200, but may add another matching monitor later

Additional Comments: No bling...just a workhorse. Room for plenty of drives. Will likely run some variant of Linux. Plan to use the SSD as primary drive and HD1 and 2 in RAID 1 config for media storage.

OK...so some questions I have are:

Do the selected components work well together?

Any bad/stupid choices?

Will the built-in graphics be a bottleneck? I assume I'll need to buy a graphics card if I want to go to two monitors.

Anyone like the Intel motherboard? Bad choice?

Thanks!
