CPU PROBLEM

PLEASE HELP ME
Hello guys can you help me with this, From some days, when i start my computer after some times the CPU shuts down automatically, i thought the problem might be with the power cable so i changed it but the problem remains the same
my specs
OS windows 7 32 bit
PROCESSOR AMD Phenom II 550 3.11 Ghz HDD Seagate 500 GB

And why did you think it was the problem?

pls note that you shoul read the existing for reference before posting a thread. If a PC hangs out right after sometime you powered on your PC,and if this keeps on happening every power on your PC,then it is most likely due to an over heated CPU. Make sure your CPU fan is running and at good speeds. Also try renewing the thermal paste. Arrange wires carefully so that there will be a good flow of air. Let us know if this was'nt your problem. Best of luck
