So I am just wondering what kind of bottle necking if any I am going to experience with 2 gtx 570's on a phenom 2 x4 965?

I am only using this cpu until the bulldozer has "proven itself"

The 965 is good you will play all games maxed out without any tangible loss in FPS however I would overclock that 965 to 4ghz on a decent Cooler I recommend the Cooler Master Hyper 212+ dirt cheap and it works.

Try and push that SOB to 4.2ghz if you win the silicon lottery t will be possible.

bulldozer HAS proven itself......to be crap, where have you been? Depends what resolution your running. At 1080p yes, it is overkill for 1808p. For higher resolutions you really want something with more vram than gtx570s. There are some 2gb gtx560ti's around that would be great for sli and give you plenty of vram, but no point if your not running more than a single 1080p monitor

I have been doing some searching and now i'm wondering if maybe if i would be better off running a pair of 560 ti 448 cores instead. They are around 70 bucks cheaper each and only showed about a 5% diff in performance from the 570's. Worth it?

Why the GTX 570 are faster and you can find one for the same price as a GTX 448 so why pay more for less and then down the road you cant even SLI because they are a limited run card so Nvidia can profit on noobs that buy a slower lower binned card for virtually the same price as a superior faster card being the GTX 570.

K just so i'm being clear i'm talking about the evga classified version of the cards and i'm buying both at the same time. As for the price i have found nowhere that makes the price virtually the same, and all the testing has showed similar or higher performance than the 570.

The EVGA classy is just a hyped up card that is still inferior to the GTX 570 and costs the same price as a GTX 570 and at stock the 570 will put the hurt on it and 570 still overclocks better than a lower class 448 and has more cores than a 448 plus better power phases.

I would like to see some video or script of that, not because i don't believe it but because I haven't bought the cards yet. Honestly i just want the best set up for the money. On a side note i am using a GA990 FXA-ud3 and mushkin redline 1600 ddr3 ram if that helps

The GTX 448 cores are definitely not your best bet get the GTX 570 they are faster and overclock even higher and can be had for the same price as a 448 core.

If that is true then i would love to go that rout, I would just love to know where you found them for roughly the same price.......

Then get a 6970 if you do want to pay $20 or 30 40 more for a GTX 570
