i've installed 16gb ram win a motherboard asus p8h61-mlx3r2.0 - SO windows 7 ultimate 32bit
i dont know why i can see only 3.62 gb ram
does anyone can help me? :bounce:  :o  :o  :o  :hello:  :hello:

You need 64 bit operating system to use more than 4gB ram. For 16gB ram you need windows 7 professional or a better version 64 bit OS.

A 32 bit operating system can only address a technical maximum without using some hackish hardware trickery (that windows does not implement).

Some of that will be allocated for motherboard, PCI and possibly graphics resources reducing the limit to ~3.7GB.

You need a 64 bit OS if you want to use more than 4 GB.
