I have these cards and will be setting them up in crossfire mode this evening.

6950 TwinFrozrIII 1gb. I bought the wrong one.
Will this impact performance?
In what order should I position these on my board? Does it matter performance wise? Both will have x16 on my msi 890fxa-gd70.
Which positioning will keep the heat down? My setup is close to silent in my antec p183 and I would like to keep it that way. The reference design looks like it will expel most of the heat out of the back of the case. However, the twin frozr has dual fans and will likely remain cooler but in turn making the case hotter as it doesn't appear to push as much heat out the back.
