As I want to build a new system, I'm searching for a good CPU (no Intel, please). So a few weeks ago I started watching reviews for 960t. So I wanted it. Two days ago I entered on the site I was planning to buy from and I saw that they don't have 960t anymore. So I entered on another site where I saw the 965. Now I'm trying to choose one of them but I don't know which one.

Here is the 965 BE : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103727
And here is the 960t: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103995

More about : phenom 960t 965

Personally, I would go for the 965BE, some people like the 960t because with the right motherboard you might be able to unlock the other 2 cores, but then again, you might not

960T could possibly be a flawed chip that was once suppose to be a 1090T or 1100T,
but then it could be a fully functioning 6 core chip.
I feel if you need a 6 core chip then get a real one and do not count on a chip to unlock 100% of the time.

That's what I think too.
