if your stock cooler is the copper piped one then I'd say around 4.0GHz is the highest you can go.
aftermarket retail cooler can do about 4.4GHz tops on air.

you can hit 3.8GHz now without any voltage tweaks if this is the BE (black edition) by turning up the multi to 19..

I just turned the multiplier up to 19, thanks for the info.

Yes it's the BE version.

Wow, 4.4 sounds good. Do you have an Aftermarket cooler you would recommend?

not bad and similar to mine.

AMD Phenom II X4 965BE @ (3.8GHz) Deneb
GIGABYTE GA-990XA-UD3
Scythe SCSK-1100 100mm Shuriken Rev. B

I could go higher on the overclock but I just choose not too, it's not that important to me anymore to get as high as I can..
need help with air or liquid cooling I can help, what have you looked at.?

I haven't looked at any liquid cooling or air coolers yet. Anything you recommend would be very helpful

Is the Scythe an aftermarket cooler?
