Heya,

I'm new to these forums, but from what I've read there seems to be a good knowledge base here, so where better to ask this than here? (Also asked over at the Nvidia forums)

I'm currently building my first scratch build pc. I've based is off the Mid-Range masher specs on the summer 2011 buyers guide over at http://uk.geforce.co...pc-buyers-guide

The only thing I've really changed is the Processor, opting for the Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz LGA1155 6MB instead of the Intel Core i5 2400 3.10GHz Socket 1155 Processor.

I'm also changing the Mobo, as I've been reading reviews about the suggested Gigabyte Z68MX-UD2H-B3 LGA1155 Intel Z68 DDR3 mATX mobo and am a bit concerned due to some of the negative points I've read about it. I am able to stretch my budget by about 30 or so pounds, so I was wondering if the Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD4 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) Motherboard would be the better option to go for?

Would I need to up the PSU for the different mobo too?

Here are the specs for what I am building, would you say stick with the recommended mobo or go for the Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD4 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) Motherboard or perhaps even another one in the same price bracket?

Here is the full list of items I've ordered:

Graphics Card: Asus NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 810MHz 1GB PCI-Express
Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz LGA1155 6MB
Motherboard inc Chipset: Gigabyte Z68MX-UD2H-B3 LGA1155 Intel Z68 DDR3
Case: Antec 300 Three Hundred Case
Cooler: Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 Socket Heatpipe CPU Cooler
Memory: Corsair Memory Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz CL9 XMP
PSU: Corsair Memory TX750 V2 750W EnthusiastSeries SLI Ready
Hard Disk: WD 1TB 3.5" SATA-III 6Gb/s Caviar Black 7200RPM 64MB Cache
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-S222AB 22x DVD±RW DL SATA Optical Drive Black

* Update *

So my current choice seems to be the Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD4 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) Motherboard Vs the Asus P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 Motherboard (Socket 1155, ATX, DDR3, USB 3.0, HDMI, Bluetooth Module) ?

Which of the two would you guys suggest? Or would you suggest another mobo all together?

Thanks again in advance.
