Downloaded speedfan and its saying my laptop is running at 60 C while all im doing is browsing the web. What could cause this? My laptop is on a desk and i took the back off and peeked inside and there is no dust clogging the fan or the vents.

Its an intel i5 m520

It is officially allowed to get as hot as 105°C. Laptop cooling is sub par in general, so it should be normal. You could try and check the temp under load.

Prime95 for instance is a free program that can stress your CPU to 100% load and keep it there until you stop it. Good for testing temps.
