Hey Guys lately i have been posting some builds on here for a Gaming PC. Well i bought my parts today and was wandering if yall had any feedback. I based it around a 500-600 budget and i didnt need an HDD,DVD or PSU atm.

So here it is. Also only thing ill be using it for is SWTOR and Guitar Pro 5.

i3 2120 129.99

haf 912 49.99

8gb patriot ram 33.99

Z68 mobo 94.99

asus 550ti 129.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121435

total 438.95

Also i am going to buy another 550ti. any suggestions on how big of a PSU i need? i was thinking maybe 650 or something. I couldnt justify getting a 2500k, 6970 and all these other high end parts just to play an MMO but i chose parts that i could use to upgrade hence the z68 mobo etc. thanks for any feedback

its ok but do get the i5 and a gtx 560, quad core is becoming a necessity with today's games and a 650w should hit the spot

This is good advice except you're not going to be able to fit it on a $500 budget.

For two 550ti you're going to want to go with a quality 500W-550W power supply. There's more to power supplies than total wattage but, if you get a 500W-550W unit from Corsair, Antec, or Seasonic you'll be fine.

Cool thanks, i doubt ill get 2 cards. i can play on high detail and such at a decent 50FPS with isnt too bad for a reference GTX 550 ti, i got the OC asus which i can OC even more so im expecting a little more performance. I already have a 500w PSU.

Its not that i cant do a high end PC, i was actually gonna get an i5 2500k, Cooler master 212 evo, 6970, 750w PSU, Haf 922, 16gb ram all this stuff but i could justify spending 1k on a PC just to play Star Wars since i play most other games on my xbox or PS3

oh good just tryna future proof your system, imo upgrading shouldnt be a concern for atleast 2 years. go for it ^
