Would it be worth upgrading my router?

I'm trying to decide if it would be worth upgrading my wireless router. It's a 5 or 6 year old DLink 802.11b/g, can't remember the exact model. I stream netflix with my 802.11n capable bluray player and browse the web with my 802.11n capable android phone but my DSL is rather crappy (~5mbps/756kbps on a good day). Also the signal strength to my devices is usually quite low even though the router is just one room over.

So what does anybody think? I guess my signal strength may be better with a new router but my DSL is the limiting factor, so maybe it's not worth upgrading? Thanks
